Lucilla grew up and attended school in the local area. She graduated from the University of Queensland with First class Honours in 1993. She was selected as the winner of the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association prize in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in 1993 and the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Award for Excellence in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology in 1992. She is an experienced and dedicated veterinarian and has now been looking after pets in the area for 28 years. Lucilla is passionate about all areas of small animal practice with a particular interest in feline medicine, anaesthesia, dentistry, ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery. She also has an interest in avian medicine including the medicine and husbandry of backyard chooks.
Dr Amber graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 2006. Initially working in the equine field at several referral hospitals within Brisbane, her career took a change in direction after the birth of her twin girls, when she moved into veterinary nurse education and finally small animal practice.
Amber has worked at numerous small animal practices throughout Brisbane in both locum and permanent roles, which has seen her gain a wide range of experience and knowledge. Amber enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She is also very passionate about small animal dentistry and enjoys client education and communication.
In her spare time Amber and her husband are usually doing ‘DIY’ renovations or gardening, as well as spending time with her young family and pets, which include two dogs, guinea pigs and chickens.
Larissa graduated from the University of Qld and has been practising in the local area for over 30 years.
Larissa loves general practice and enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. Pet rats have a special place in her heart.
Shannon graduated from University of Queensland in 2021 and has spent her graduate years working in a fast paced community and shelter clinic. This allowed for a broad case exposure, and lots of wacky and wild cases that required creative thinking. She is passionate about preventative health and feline medicine.
Outside of work, Shannon has two little ones that keep her hands full as well as three cats and three chickens. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, baking and a good coffee.
Bridget is one of our full time Veterinary Technicians and graduated from UQ Gatton in 2018. She enjoys anaesthetics and surgical nursing. Bridget enjoys keeping fit, going to the beach, camping, and live music. Bridget has two kelpie x cattle dogs named Rey and Shayla.
Emma moved to Australia from the UK 12 years ago and graduated from UQ in 2016 with a bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing and has a Labrador X called Billy and a DSH called Tiger. In her spare time she enjoys doing pole fitness, going to eat street markets and reading.
Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, Sarah moved to Brisbane in 2012. With a strong background in customer service and a passion for animals Sarah started doing work experience at Monier Veterinary Clinic in 2018. She joined the full time nursing team in 2019 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019. As one of our full-time staff, Sarah is involved in all aspects of clinic life and considers herself a passionate animal advocate. Sarah has two furry friends Chuck the beagle and Charlie the maltese shihtzu cross that keep her busy.
Jenny is a Veterinary Nurse and started nursing in 2003. She loves working with animals and enjoys looking after the hospital patients. At home she has 4 human children, two dogs, a cat and cockatiels.
Sarah is our full-time veterinary receptionist and has recently completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies. She has worked in the medical field for over 15 years with a Certificate III in assistant nursing, and now applies her experience into the veterinary field, complementing her warmth and adoration towards animals. Sarah has a lovely Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and 4 adorable cats
Robbie is one of our casual Vet Nurses who recently attained her Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing through Charles Sturt University, where she continues to study a Batchelor in Veterinary Technology. She moved to QLD in 2021 after leaving her previous job as an aircraft mechanic to pursue her love of the animal care industry. She enjoys snowboarding and hiking with her two Border Collies in her spare time.
Kim is one of our casual Veterinary Technicians and graduated from UQ Gatton in 2018. Kim enjoys going to the markets on weekends and spending time with her pets Molly (staffy) and Lulu (DSH).
