By helping your pets live a long and happy life, we get to make a difference in your life which also makes a big difference in our lives.

Soft Tissue Surgery

At Monier Veterinary Clinic soft tissue surgery comprises of any surgery that does not fall under Orthopaedic Surgery. The most common forms of soft tissue surgery includes desexings, lump removals, and gastrointestinal surgery.

At Monier Vet clinic all our vets are experienced in this type of surgery and since your pet will likely be experiencing soft tissue surgery at least once in their life (desexing!) we provide everything your pet will need for a comfortable anaesthetic and recovery. This includes intravenous fluid therapy, pain relief, and E-Collars. Afterwards, our patients are normally given lunch comprised of roast chicken and we send a text with their picture advising you of when they will be ready to be picked up.

If you have any further questions about this sort of procedure then give our team a ring on
(07) 3279 3999 and they will be happy to put your mind at ease

Dental preventative care and Treatment

Dentistry is becoming an increasingly important part of the veterinary industry. Dental health has a history of being underdiagnosed and undertreated. Poor dental health can shorten your pet’s lifespan and even lead to heart problems later in life. Here at Monier, we offer free dental health checks in order to assess your pet’s teeth and provide you with a personalised plan to improve and maintain your pet’s oral health. We focus primarily on prevention which includes tooth brushing, specialist chews, and the right diet.

We also offer services such as a thorough scale and polish which are performed under a general anaesthetic. If deemed necessary, we can perform dental Xrays which help us assess root health and greatly assists us with extractions.

We highly recommend regular dental checks in order to identify signs of disease and pain. It is important the know that your pet will keep eating even if they are in pain. these checkups allow us to act accordingly in the best interest of your pet and prevent chronic pain and infection and extensive oral surgery in the future.
